A trackball cartridge. Ten balls a hill and twenty-five seeds to take: hold to sight the launcher — the line it is holding is drawn as far as the first peg it would strike — and let go, and whatever the ball touches on the way down pays. One speed, and the hill is laid inside what it reaches, so there is no corner of it you cannot aim at. A peg lights when it is struck and is swept off when the ball leaves play, so a long ricochet is worth more than a straight drop — and a peg struck a third of the hill away from the last one, or off a wall, or played straight into the trough, is worth more again. The trough sliding along the floor gives a ball back to anyone who lands in it, and the last seed opens the floor into chutes. The high scores are the site’s, one board for everyone who plays here.
